Plant Based Possibilities with Chef Lily Toomey

Plant based cooking can require us to think more creatively about food, and explore new flavours, textures and ingredients. This can be an overwhelming prospect if you are new to a plant-based diet or just interested in adopting more plant-based recipes into your life. But it can also open a world of possibilities! In this workshop we will make food that incorporates local ingredients and global flavours and take time to talk together about the challenges and opportunities of plant-based cooking and living. Chef Lily Toomey brings years of experience and expertise to a workshop that will address things like accessing ingredients, utilising what we already have around us, and tips for managing the time constraints that we all face. Together we will prepare food that’s perfect for sharing with family, friends, and community. This workshop is suitable for all ages and skill levels. All you need to bring is curiosity.
